Player's Kit.
- Required equipment for players: Hockey stick and running shoes
- Required equipment for goaltenders: Goalie pads, helmet, chest protector, glove and blocker, goalie stick
- Optional equipment for players: Shin pads (hockey or soccer style), hockey gloves, helmet, mouth guard, jock strap
- Optional equipment for goaltenders: jock strap
- Insurance has been purchased that will cover all participants on the day of the event.
- Games will be 30 minutes long, and played in 40 minute intervals. No more than 5 players (including goalie) are to be on the playing surface at any point during the match. Substitutions will take place on the fly.
- Violence will not be tolerated. This is a fun event, and those that wish to engage in violent conduct will be removed from the event immediately. Please note: scrapes and bruises are bound to happen given the nature of the sport. Please do not take it personally. Please respect the referee’s calls.
- Participants are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers and any other items that will make a day in the park more enjoyable including pets and family members.
- There will be food and beverage available for purchase during the event.
- There will be a DJ playing music for participants on the day of the event.
- There will be raffle tickets available for purchase on the day of event and a list of prizes will be provided on that day as well.
- Parking. Unfortunately there is only street parking around the park. Make sure you are at the event at least 30 minutes before your first game to allow for registration and collection of your team colors.
